War Raiders member dedicates major win to his sons in heartwarming post
The War Raiders have won their second tag team title on WWE's main roster. One-half of the newly crowned champions, Erik, dedicated the win to his sons in a recent social media update.
On the latest edition of Monday Night RAW, Erik and Ivar challenged The Judgment Day's Finn Balor and JD McDonagh for the World Tag Team Championships. The former Viking Raiders, aided by interference from Damian Priest, secured the win to end the two Irishmen's 175 days title reign. Despite being the champions for nearly half a year, it was Balor and McDonagh's third title defense.
Earlier today, Erik took to his Instagram account to share a heartwarming update, dedicating his win to his two sons. The 40-year-old is married to fellow WWE Superstar Valhalla. The couple has two sons, Raymond Cash Rowe, and Ezekiel Joseph Rowe, the second of whom was born earlier this year on November 28:
"CashBoy, Ezekiel… Papa did it!! #wwe #wweraw #andnew #warraiders," wrote Erik.

Erik opens up about The War Raiders' struggle with injuries following WWE RAW
The War Raiders returned to WWE television as a tag team after more than a year on the October 14 edition of Monday Night RAW. While Ivar got injured earlier this year in April, Erik had been out of action since September 2023 due to a neck injury. The duo has dealt with multiple injuries throughout their wrestling careers before the recent ones as well.
Following their impressive win on RAW last night, the newly crowned champions spoke to Jackie Redmond in a backstage interview. While expressing his happiness in winning the title, Ivar shed light on the duo's experience dealing with injuries over the years. He claimed that the two were told, on more than one occasion, that they would never wrestle again:
"There were points in the last five years, but also in the last 10 years, where both of us were told more than once we will never wrestle again. We might not ever walk again. I might not be able to hold my sons. Through all that, we're still here. Through all that, we have these. I don't think there's anything I could ever say to encapsulate what that means to us as performers, as professionals, or as people," he said.
The War Raiders have been dominant since their return two months ago. It will be interesting to see how they perform after winning the World Tag Team Championship.
