[WATCH] BTS footage from WWE SmackDown - Triple H in conversation with Cody Rhodes, Nia Jax and more
Triple H ushered in a new era of WWE SmackDown with the Season Premiere of the show on the USA Network. The episode featured many stars such as Cody Rhodes, Nia Jax, Roman Reigns, and others. The Chief Content Officer of the company took to his social media handle to share a behind-the-scenes (BTS) clip from the blue brand.
This week's episode of the Nick Aldis managed show kicked off its Season Premiere with Cody Rhodes putting his Undisputed WWE Championship on the line against Solo Sikoa in a Steel Cage Match. The night also saw Reigns and Rhodes form an alliance of convenience to fight off The Bloodline. This eventually led to a Tag Team Match between the two sides being finalized for Bad Blood.
The night also saw Nia Jax come out and issue a challenge to anyone on the roster for the WWE Women's Championship at Bad Blood. The Season Premiere of SmackDown garnered much appreciation from the WWE Universe.
Triple H seemed ecstatic about the success of the show and took to his X (fka Twitter) account to share his joy with the fans. He shared a short BTS clip from the Season Premiere, where he can be seen interacting backstage with Cody Rhodes, Nia Jax, and others on a night that featured some of the biggest stars of the blue brand.

Update on Roman Reigns' status with WWE SmackDown
Roman Reigns returned to the blue brand after a short absence from the show. He was initially promoted for the Season Premiere but was removed from all advertisements because of a management decision, as per reports.
After the show, WWE's official website confirmed The OTC's status with the blue brand. Earlier, Reigns was listed as a free agent, which meant he could show up on either brand. Now, the company has confirmed that Reigns will be a permanent fixture on SmackDown, and thus exclusive to Friday nights.
The first episode of WWE SmackDown on the USA Network was a huge success getting many viewers tuning in to watch the show. It will be interesting to see how Triple H proceeds with Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns finally being a part of the same brand every week.
