[WATCH] Chelsea Green's hilarious Money in the Bank post-show moment interrupted by WWE starĀ
Chelsea Green surprisingly was not the one handpicked by WWE to win the Money in the Bank contract in 2024. She was the favorite heading into the eponymous event this past weekend, but in the end, it was Tiffany Stratton who retrieved the briefcase.
As usual, there was a post-show press conference and Stratton, CM Punk, John Cena and Triple H were among the names who took part in it. Taking to Instagram, Chelsea Green shared an unseen moment in the conference hall. It is unclear whether the footage was recorded before or after it. Needless to say, Green's impeccable comic timing is on display.
She reiterates more than once that she is a 'fighter' and that she will come back stronger. When RAW General Manager Adam Pearce interrupted her talking to an empty hall, he was at first baffled but winded up leaving the room, saying he needed a drink.

It remains to be seen if the company books her strong going forward. Green is one of the most popular names on the roster. The fans are ready to see her win a major championship already.
WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray is all praise for Chelsea Green
Since returning to World Wrestling Entertainment in January 2023, Chelsea Green immediately got over with the fans owing to her character work.
WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray has often spoken highly of her on the Busted Open Radio podcast. On an episode in November 2023, Ray noted how the 33-year-old always utilizes how much ever TV time she gets wisely.
"Chelsea Green has been knocking it dead, knocking them dead, ever since she's gotten back to the WWE," Ray said. "And I went on Twitter last night [Monday night], and I put Chelsea over. I said, 'Chelsea maximizes every second of TV time that she's given.' [...] Chelsea reacts to everything so legitimately, so over the top, so entertaining, that it just catches my attention."
In the last year and a half since her WWE return, Chelsea Green has won the Women's Tag Team Championship alongside Sonya Deville. On account of the latter's injury, Piper Niven filled in the role of tag team partner. The duo has been a unit ever since. They currently perform on the SmackDown brand.
