Who's next for Cody Rhodes and the Undisputed WWE Championship?

Things are going to get very interesting for Cody Rhodes and SmackDown. After teaming up with Roman Reigns to defeat Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at Bad Blood, the Undisputed WWE Champion made it clear that he was done with all matters related to The Bloodline.

So it looks like going forward, it will be family business along with the Sami Zayn drama. It didn't leave much time for Cody to breathe as not only was his match against Gunther announced, but Kevin Owens turned on him after Bad Blood in a vicious attack.

While Cody was busy with Gunther, Kevin Owens targeted Randy Orton. It looked like the winner of their match at Crown Jewel would become the default number-one contender for the Undisputed WWE Championship. But as it stands, there's no decisive name who can challenge for the title.

Both Cody vs. Kevin Owens and Cody vs. Randy Orton seem inevitable. Although Orton is a babyface and an ally of Rhodes, he has repeatedly made not-so-subtle stares at the WWE Championship to signal his interest in becoming a 15-time World Champion.
