[WATCH] Cody Rhodes sends a message to Triple H at WWE live event

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes recently sent a message to the company's Chief Content Officer Triple H during a house show in Mexico. Rhodes has become one of the biggest faces of the Stamford-based promotion.

Since returning to WWE in 2022, The American Nightmare has been a workhorse. After dethroning Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL, he has defended his gold on multiple occasions. The 39-year-old's latest opponent was former LWO member Santos Escobar. The duo locked horns twice during house shows in Escobar's home country of Mexico. Rhodes took the win in both bouts.

However, after his latest clash in Nuevo Leon, Mexico, Cody addressed the crowd, saying that the Mexican fans deserved a premium live event. The American Nightmare then sent a message to Triple H, who was probably watching the show backstage, seemingly asking The Game for a PLE in Mexico.

"If anyone deserves a PLE, it's right here in Mexico... Same way with France, same way with Italy, same way with Scotland. This man right there, that camera, on the other side of that camera is our boss, Triple H [the crowd starting chanting PLE]," he said.

Cody Rhodes sent a message on social media after WWE made history in Mexico

Cody Rhodes asking Triple H for a premium live event in Mexico was seemingly justified as the crowd showed their passion for pro wrestling, helping make history for the biggest WWE crowd ever in the country this weekend.

Rhodes recently took to his Instagram Stories to announce the same, calling it one of the greatest nights in wrestling.

"You have bad nights in wrestling, good nights, great nights, and then you have the biggest crowd for @WWE in history for Mexico," he mentioned.

Santos Escobar also hyped up the crowd for a PLE in Mexico. It will be interesting to see if Triple H indeed has plans for a big event in Escobar's home country anytime soon.
