Watch: Drew McIntyre shares "final thoughts" ahead of Hell in a Cell at WWE Bad Blood
Drew McIntyre has taken to social media ahead of his Hell in a Cell contest with CM Punk at WWE Bad Blood. Technically, online is where things all started in early 2024.
McIntyre's claims that he prayed for Punk to get injured and using the latter's broken dreams of headlining the greatest spectacle in sports entertainment on a T-shirt was something that went viral on the Road To WrestleMania.
On Instagram, mere hours before his showdown with The Best in the World, he listed all of his accomplishments in 2024. From not allowing himself to become a "footnote," by winning the Elimination Chamber and challenging World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins at WrestleMania XL, to defeating CM Punk in the latter's first singles match in WWE after a decade.
In between those two feats, McIntyre also headlined the company's first PLE in Scotland, and followed it up with a Money in the Bank win. He also addressed his personal struggle in the last few days, but added that nothing was going to stop him from competing at Bad Blood.
The Scotsman concluded by vowing to end CM Punk's professional wrestling career inside Hell in a Cell at Bad Blood.

Drew McIntyre takes a shot at Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns ahead of WWE Bad Blood
Although the past three editions of Bad Blood (1997, 2003 and 2004) featured a Hell in a Cell contest in the main event, this Saturday's event will be headlined by Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns vs. The Bloodline.
In an interview with The Takedown on SI, Drew McIntyre called his match with CM Punk the "real main event of Bad Blood":
"It's the real main event of Bad Blood. It's Drew McIntyre and CM Punk. Punk and I, no matter what we think about each other, have a unique opportunity to create a match just as good, if not better," McIntyre said.
WWE Legend Matt Hardy recently discussed the CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre rivalry on his podcast. He noted how "emotionally involved" audiences are with the program, and that he is excited for the blowoff match.
