Watch: Drew McIntyre trolls WWE fans with CM Punk's entrance
The WWE Universe has been victimized by Drew McIntyre too often these days. The heel superstar continues to battle CM Punk amid rumors of a big stipulation match. McIntyre trolled fans in a major way today, and the footage has been revealed.
World Wrestling Entertainment had a significant presence at the inaugural Fanatics Fest NYC earlier today. There were more than 15 superstars booked, from Hulk Hogan to Tiffany Stratton and Paul Heyman, among others. The convention made for a newsworthy weekend as Punk discussed a match with Steve Austin, Nick Khan said he's proud of the Roman Reigns storyline, and Cody Rhodes seemingly left amid controversy.
Fanatics Fest featured an exhibit where people could make their own superstar entrances. NFL great Tom Brady chose Hulk Hogan in one such viral moment from the convention, but Drew McIntyre later chose his rival's entrance as a way to send a warning to CM Punk and his fans. The Scottish Warrior shared a video on X and asked if he had everyone's attention.
"Do I have your attention now?" McIntyre wrote with the video below.
Punk and McIntyre are both scheduled to be on Monday's RAW in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Officials have announced that Punk has "a can't-miss message" to deliver to McIntyre.
Potential WWE Bash in Berlin spoiler for RAW
World Wrestling Entertainment is expected to confirm a SummerSlam rematch for Bash in Berlin soon, perhaps as soon as this week's RAW. Drew McIntyre defeated CM Punk at The Biggest Event of the Summer, but plans call for Punk to get a rematch in Berlin.
Last week's RAW featured a brawl between The Second City Saint and The Scottish Psychopath, which ended with Punk unloading on McIntyre with his belt. It was later reported that WWE is planning for McIntyre vs. Punk at Bash in Berlin to be a Strap Match.
WWE's inaugural Bash in Berlin Premium Live Event is scheduled for Saturday, August 31 from the Uber Arena in the German capital. Matches confirmed as of now are Kevin Owens vs. Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton vs. World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, plus mixed tag team action with Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley vs. Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan.
