[WATCH] Jade Cargill yeets in homage to Jey Uso during major appearance outside WWE

Jade Cargill paid homage to Jey Uso during an appearance for a major event outside of WWE. Several superstars were in attendance at the Fanatics Fest held in New York City.

According to Fox News, the biggest wrestling company in the world "stole" the show at the three-day event. WWE has reportedly outshined most sports, despite the attendance of many legends such as Kevin Durant, Barry Sanders, and Cal Ripken Jr.

Jey, Jade, and Bianca Belair had their own panel at the event, hosted by Peter Rosenberg. The trio received a huge ovation from the crowd at the Javits Center in New York. The former AEW star even got the fans hyped by starting a 'Yeet' chant in honor of 'Main Event' Jey Uso.

WWE's popularity has skyrocketed over the past year, with Jey Uso, Jade Cargill, and Bianca Belair among the most over superstars in the Stamford-based promotion. Jey's departure from The Bloodline transformed him into a singles superstar although he hasn't won any singles championship since going solo.

On the other hand, Cargill has looked like a star since she jumped from AEW to WWE. She was paired with Belair, who finished a long reign as champion. They won the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship, but only held it for a brief period.

Jade Cargill speaks about her in-ring improvement

One of the reasons why Jade Cargill was put in a tag team with Bianca Belair was apparently to ease her into the spotlight. Cargill also began working more live events to help her improve in the ring.

In an interview with Alistair McGeorge of METRO, the 32-year-old star opened up about her experience wrestling on house shows regularly.

"It's important for me to get these reps to see what works and what doesn't work. Because prior, everything had to work because everything was on TV. So now, I can experiment," Cargill said.

Cargill joined WWE last September and will celebrate her first anniversary with the company soon. She made her debut at the Royal Rumble and her presentation has been top-notch every single time. She's also making progress in the ring and it might only be a matter of time before fans get to see her have a successful solo run.
