Vince Russo believes Jey Uso losing the Intercontinental Championship led to a huge loss for The Bloodline
Several weeks ago on Monday Night RAW, Jey Uso lost the Intercontinental Championship to Bron Breakker. This win led to The Big Bad Booty Nephew becoming a two-time Intercontinental Champion, ending The Yeet Master's first singles title reign within 28 days.
While speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing With Russo podcast, former WWE head writer Vince Russo said that Jey's loss led to The Bloodline losing the WWE Tag Team Championship to The Motor City Machine Guns. He said:
"It was 1000% storyline, because they scre*ed Jey out of the Intercontinental Title, then Jey turned around and scre*ed them out of the tag team titles. I think that was 1000% storyline driven."
The Bloodline lost the WWE Tag Team Championship before the Crown Jewel 2024 Premium Live Event due to Roman Reigns and The Usos' interference. This led to the original Bloodline's reunion, as they faced Solo Sikoa's Bloodline in a Six-Man Tag Team Match at the Saudi Arabia PLE. Unfortunately, Reigns and The Usos were unable to secure the win.
At the Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 Premium Live Event, the original Bloodline will face the new Bloodline in a Men's WarGames Match. The match was made official on this week's SmackDown after Sami Zayn reunited with Reigns and The Usos.
