[WATCH] Liv Morgan breaks character; takes Dominik Mysterio's hand off her in a backstage segment
Liv Morgan defended her WWE Women’s World Championship against Rhea Ripley at the 2024 Bad Blood Premium Live Event. Dominik Mysterio was locked inside a shark cage during the contest.
In the final moments of the bout, Rhea Ripley used a kendo stick to discipline 'Dirty' Dom, who was hanging upside down from the shark cage. However, The Nightmare was shockingly attacked by a returning Raquel Rodriguez. The match ended via disqualification. So, despite winning the contest, Mami couldn't secure the gold.
Shortly after, The Miracle Kid was interviewed backstage, where she said she might not be the strongest, but she was the smartest. During the same segment, eagle-eyed fans caught Liv Morgan seemingly breaking character.
Dominik's hand was on Morgan and Rodriguez’s shoulders while The Miracle Kid was speaking. However, for some reason, the Women's World Champion removed her on-screen partner's hand from her shoulder. The clip has now gone viral on X/Twitter.
Massive match for Liv Morgan at Crown Jewel 2024
Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan's issues are far from over. They will seemingly continue their feud heading into Survivor Series: WarGames. Before the high-profile event, WWE will visit Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel. At the annual spectacle, The Miracle Kid will not compete against Mami.
Morgan will lock horns with WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax in a Champion vs. Champion match at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. The winner will be crowned the new Crown Jewel Champion.
Crown Jewel is set to take place on November 2, 2024, at Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh, where Cody Rhodes and Gunther will also square off in a Champion vs. Champion bout. It will be interesting to see which stars emerge victorious and secure the new titles in Saudi Arabia.
