[WATCH] Liv Morgan confronted by top WWE champion at recent show; it didn't end well for the RAW star
Women's World Champion Liv Morgan was confronted by a fellow champion at a recent live event in Mexico. Morgan and WWE Women's Champion Bayley had a belt off before their match at a house show on Sunday.
Both women's champions of RAW and SmackDown were present in WWE's tour of Mexico over the weekend. Morgan defeated Shayna Baszler, while Bayley beat Bianca Belair on Saturday in Mexico City.
In a post by WWE on Instagram, Bayley and Morgan showed off their gold to the Monterrey crowd on Sunday before their six-woman tag team match. The WWE Women's Champion teamed up with Belair and Jade Cargill, while the Women's World Champ was with Baszler and Tiffany Stratton.
Here's the video of the friendly confrontation, with Bayley getting the louder reactions:
The match didn't end well for Liv Morgan, Shayna Baszler, and Tiffany Stratton as they lost to Bayley, Jade Cargill, and Bianca Belair. Cohesion was on Bayley's side since Cargill and Belair are former WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, while the heel trio were not on the same page.
Liv Morgan likely facing the wrath of Rhea Ripley on WWE RAW
This week's episode of WWE RAW will be held at the Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio. Rhea Ripley is expected to open the show and possibly address what is happening with the Judgment Day and how Liv Morgan has seemingly infiltrated the group.
Morgan was responsible for getting Finn Balor and JD McDonagh a shot at the World Tag Team Championships. She also helped them win the title from Awesome Truth.
The Women's World Champ has also seemingly stolen the heart of Dominik Mysterio before Ripley made her shocking return last week. Mami was not happy with her "Dom Dom" and there should be a big confrontation happening on the red brand.
In addition to these things, Liv Morgan was responsible for putting Rhea Ripley out of action with a shoulder injury. The injury also caused Ripley to get stripped out of her Women's World Championship, which Morgan currently holds after beating Becky Lynch at King and Queen of the Ring in Saudi Arabia.
