[WATCH] Randy Orton shocks LA Knight with unique fan interaction following WWE show
Randy Orton had a unique fan interaction at a recent WWE live event that seemingly shocked LA Knight. The two superstars had teamed up with Andrade to take on some familiar foes.
At a recent house show in Mexico City, Orton, Knight and Andrade faced The Bloodline consisting of Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa. It was a homecoming for Andrade, but The Bloodline got the win in the penultimate match of the night.
After the contest was over, The Master of the RKO was feeling generous and went on to greet fans at ringside. He also signed some items for the fans in attendance, including an action figure of himself.
The gesture seemingly shocked LA Knight, who quickly popped up when it happened, as can be seen in the video below.
It's not unusual for WWE Superstars like Randy Orton to sign action figures for their fans. However, most signed action figures are sealed in boxes, which makes it a highly collectible item. But in this case, it was just Orton noticing a fan, possibly a kid, with his action figure and decided to make a lifetime memory for the fan.
Some fans online were also surprised that Orton worked Saturday night after going through a table last Friday on SmackDown. For those who don't know, house shows or live events are not part of storylines shown on WWE television.
Randy Orton not thinking of retiring anytime soon
At the age of 44, Randy Orton might have just a few more years left in his career. Also, a seemingly serious back injury almost ended it, causing him to take more than a year off.
However, it seems like his return from the injury reinvigorated him and the star suggested he would like to wrestle into his 50s.
"I feel so great after my surgery. I'm a full-time guy. I don't want to, you know, do the old Undertaker or Shawn Michaels schedule, which they needed to do, understandably, but wrestle at WrestleMania, take the summer off, maybe you see them at SummerSlam. I want to be on the road every week. I want to make all the TVs. I want to be on all the PLEs. At 44, I would love to be able to go until my 50s. Maybe, I wrestle until I'm 50 and call it. That's 30 years," Orton said in an interview on Adam's Apple back in May. [2:35 - 3:10]
Randy Orton was serious when he said that he was on a full-time schedule, seeing as how he took a big bump on Friday, flew to Mexico and wrestled the next night.
It's a great sign for fans who still want to see one of the best superstars of his generation perform.
