"We don't like one another" - Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes gives his honest opinion of The Rock
The Rock became Cody Rhodes' biggest WWE challenge before squaring off against Roman Reigns at The Grandest Stage of Them All. Recently, The American Nightmare gave his honest opinion of The Final Boss and his passion for the industry.
Earlier this year, The Rock made significant moves behind the scenes and ascended to the top of the Stamford-based promotion. Later, he turned towards the dark side and became The Final Boss by aligning with Roman Reigns' The Bloodline.
In a conversation with Diamond Dallas Page on DDP Yoga, the two discussed The Rock's love for the business and his return heading into WrestleMania XL. The American Nightmare spoke highly of The Final Boss' passion for the industry and wished the two had a better relationship.
"I wish [The] Rock and I had a better relationship than we do. Destiny pitted us against one another, I suppose. However, I can fully from one moment of eye contact with him understand that he's still the biggest fan of what we do (...) Even though we don't like one another, there are very few people you meet you can tell they're into this, this is it, they love it. [DDP: He loves it the way you love it, he loves it the way I've always loved it] Yeah," Rhodes said. (From 51:23 to 52:22)

Cody Rhodes is set to defend his title against The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa at WWE SummerSlam 2024
The Bloodline's dominant run started to end when Sami Zayn left the faction. The group slowly lost its momentum heading into WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia. However, The Rock's heel turn was the saving grace for the stable as The Final Boss changed the group's landscape.
However, it didn't stop Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in Philadelphia, where Roman Reigns' legendary run ended. After the event, Solo Sikoa took over the reins and drastically changed the faction by adding Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu.
Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes defended the title against AJ Styles and Logan Paul as the face of WWE SmackDown. However, Solo Sikoa wasn't done with The American Nightmare, as he pinned him in Toronto at WWE Money in the Bank and demanded a title match.
Without hesitating, Cody Rhodes agreed to put his title on the line against Solo Siko at The Biggest Party of the Summer in Ohio. It'll be interesting to see which star leaves with the Undisputed WWE Championship.
