“We all miss you” - WWE sends heartfelt message to retired legend

WWE sent a heartwarming message to a retired legend today after his latest film proved to be wildly successful at the box office.

Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 opened as the #1 movie worldwide recently and the film features former WWE Superstar Batista. Now known as Dave Bautista in Hollywood, The Animal has become a very successful actor following his retirement after WrestleMania 35.

Batista's last bout was a No Holds Barred match against WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H at the Show of Shows. The event took place at Metlife Stadium in New York, and The Game ultimately prevailed in the battle between the two former Evolution members.

He hung up his boots for good after the match and has already been announced as a Hall of Famer but hasn't been able to attend the ceremony in recent years due to scheduling conflicts. WWE's official Twitter account congratulated the former champion on the success of Guardians of the Galaxy at the box office and added that everyone misses him.
