"We’re gonna do that at Backlash"- Bianca Belair reveals her plans with Jade Cargill for WWE Backlash
WWE SmackDown Superstar Bianca Belair recently opened up about her determination and confidence with her teammate Jade Cargill.
On tonight's episode of SmackDown, fans witnessed a segment involving Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, and the Kabuki Warriors. During the show, Bianca Belair expressed her intention to team up with Jade Cargill to challenge the Kabuki Warriors for the WWE Women's Tag Team Title. After The EST made her statement, the Kabuki Warriors went after her. The confrontation peaked when Cargill joined the scene during the heated moment.
Following SmackDown, Belair gave her honest opinion about teaming up with Jade Cargill for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship at WWE Backlash. She asserted that the partnership with Cargill is formidable, and that having Big Jade by her side is an advantage. Bianca Belair said:
“Doesn’t that sound nice, Bianca Belair [and] Jade Cargill in the ring together, on the same team. Who’s gonna stop us? Kabuki Warriors, one been fighting for my life for two-plus years with the Kabuki Warriors. I’ve had a lot of amazing women fight alongside me, but I never had somebody like Jade Cargill, so she is the best person to help me end it once and for all with Damage CTRL, and I’m gonna do that. We’re gonna do that at Backlash. Those tag team titles are coming with us. I’ve touched a lot of gold, but I’ve never touched those tag team titles, so we gonna make some more history. We gonna keep going up." (H/T Fightful)
WWE Superstar Bianca Belair opened up about being on the right track with Jade Cargill and Naomi
WWE SmackDown Superstar Bianca Belair opened up regarding how she finally feels after teaming up with Naomi and Jade Cargill, and being on the right track.
The EST stated how Naomi and Sasha Banks (Mercedes Mone) were dominating the women's division. Further, when Naomi and Banks left the company in May of 2022 due to creative differences, Belair felt left out in the industry. She further added that since Naomi has returned and Cargill has also teamed up, The EST feels like she is heading on the proper path.
She detailed:
"What I will say is we were at a point where it was all three of us [Belair, Naomi & Mercedes Moné] and I just saw it becoming something so huge where we were all champions and I saw it as, this is the first time where I feel like it’s not just one of us, it’s three of us and now when people think about the women’s division, they’re gonna think about three Black women...."
She continued:
"Then it all kind of went away and I was the only one, and some people wanna be the only one but I felt like I was left by myself to do it by myself and it’s a lot of responsibility and so now where we have Jade Cargill coming in, and you have Naomi that’s come back, and I feel like we’re back on the right track."
It will be intriguing to see how the company plans to develop storylines for Belair, Naomi, and Cargill going forward.
