What happened after Raw went off air? - 17th October 2016
The historic edition of Monday Night Raw in Denver saw the legendary Bill Goldberg make his return to WWE which was 12 and a half years in the making.
The finish of the show on-air saw Goldberg accepting Brock Lesnar’s challenge for a match proclaiming “Not only does that mean you’re next ..but most importantly it means, Brock Lesnar, you’re last” and then embracing the crowd and standing tall to end the show.
What happened after the legend departed and went off the air?
Firstly, the adrenalin rush Goldberg got in front of the red-hot Denver crowd left him in no mood to answer any questions Tom Phillips had for him

The show went on after it went off-air for a bit, as it saw two dark matches. The first dark match was Roman Reigns vs Rusev in which the United States Champion successfully defeated The Bulgarian Brute.
The final bout of the night saw a long match between WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins where the two went at it for nearly 20 minutes. Seth Rollins won by disqualification after Chris Jericho interfered. Y2J came out to a huge pop. After this happened, Rollins finished Kevin Owens with a pedigree and his music hit, to close the show.

As noted, Brock Lesnar will be returning to WWE television for the first time since Summerslam where he viciously beat down Randy Orton. He is returning to his hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he will definitely be received favourably.
He and Goldberg will cross paths, however, as they are both advertised for the November 14th edition of Raw in Buffalo, New York. The two are currently scheduled to face each other in the main event of Survivor Series next month in Toronto.
However, the match has not officially been announced for Survivor Series, but it likely will be in the coming days or week or so. Raw has one PPV stop before Survivor Series in Hell In A Cell.
