"What are they doing with him?" - Wrestling veteran unhappy with Bron Breakker's current booking in WWE (Exclusive)

Hall of Fame pro wrestling journalist Bill Apter recently spoke about Bron Breakker's booking in WWE. The second-generation superstar was recently picked by RAW as part of the 2024 Draft.

Bron Breakker has been portrayed as a major force on the main roster. Week after week, he has been destroying his opponents. However, last Monday, he faced stiff competition from Ilja Dragunov. He ultimately overcame The Mad Dragon after a tough battle.

On Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine, Bill Apter mentioned that Bron Breakker's in-ring performances did not match his savage WWE gimmick. The Hall of Famer felt that Breakker was selling too much for his opponents. Apter pointed out that WWE was booking him like Goldberg, but the WCW veteran did not sell his rivals' moves like the former NXT Champion has been doing on RAW.

"The talent has to live up to the videos that they are doing to introduce them. There's a certain guy in WWE currently who is being shown in these videos that he destroys and kills everybody. He's related to Rick Steiner actually. When they get him in the ring, he's just not showing the killer that he is in the videos. Once you do those videos, you got to have the talent match what the video is. This guy is Goldberg number two. Every week, though, he's against those guys that are hitting him once or twice and he's backing up. You'd never see that with Goldberg. What are they doing with him?" [From 5:55 onwards]

This week on RAW, Bron Breakker turned his attention toward Sami Zayn and the Intercontinental Championship. However, he was interrupted by Sheamus. Breakker then faced The Celtic Warrior in a singles match that ended via a disqualification.
