"What an honor" - 4-time WWE champion addresses comparisons to Kurt Angle
WWE Hall of Fame Kurt Angle has been part of some iconic moments in the company's history. American Made's Chad Gable recently addressed comparisons to the veteran, especially as Perc Angle.
Before the Olympic Gold medalist left WWE, Kurt Angle portrayed an intense character on screen with questionable motives, while feuding with Booker T. However, the veteran's intensity and promo in his perc phase became quite popular in the coming years.
In an interview with Chris Van Vliet on INSIGHT, Chad Gable addressed the comparisons to Kurt Angle, especially the perc phase he went through on Monday Night RAW with the Alpha Academy. The 38-year-old star stated it was his honor to get noticed similarly and praised the WWE Hall of Famer.
"I mean, what an honor. First of all, it's so funny when that stuff started coming out because I'm like, oh, here we go, now we're cooking (...) And it just worked out really well. But all that to say like Kurt is the man dude, he's been so cool throughout everything we've done with him. I got to wrestle him, which was insane," Gable said. (H/T CVV)

Chad Gable's American Made added a new member on WWE RAW
Chad Gable has followed Kurt Angle's footsteps more or less with his recent antics on Monday Night RAW. However, Master Gable was in one of the biggest stories on the red brand where he failed to win the Intercontinental Championship from Sami Zayn.
After failing to get the much-required help from Otis, Chad Gable decided to create a new fashion and abandoned Alpha Academy in the coming weeks. The 38-year-old star did try to talk things over with the trio, but eventually, Gable had to move on with a new team.
Last month, The Creed Brothers aligned with Chad Gable to take on Wyatt Sicks. Earlier this month, it was revealed the trio would be known as American Made and suffered a loss in the main event of Monday Night RAW after The Biggest Party of the Summer in Ohio.
On the recent edition of WWE RAW, Ivy Nile turned heel on Maxxine Dupri and Alpha Academy and joined American Made. She has often been on the side of The Creed Brothers and it seems like Chad Gable's new faction is getting stronger with each passing week.
