Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan are fighting over Dominik Mysterio in a popular angle on WWE RAW. However, a veteran believes the former NXT North American Champion has made a significant mistake that could ruin the storyline for casual fans.
While Dominik has been in an on-screen romantic relationship with Mami for nearly two years, he recently married his high school sweetheart, Marie Juliette. Meanwhile, the former Women's World Champion has tied the knot with AEW star Buddy Matthews. Despite being a couple on WWE TV, Dirty Dom and Mami continue to post photos of themselves with their real-life partners on social media, which former head writer Vince Russo believes would confuse casual fans.
Speaking on the Behind The Turnbuckle podcast, Russo slammed Dirty Dom for posting such photos on social media, claiming that kayfabe seemingly does not matter anymore:

While Dirty Dom has been in an on-screen romantic relationship with Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan attempted to steal him in Mami's absence. The Women's World Champion tried to seduce him on several occasions and even kissed him. Meanwhile, The Eradicator licked his face last Monday on RAW.
On the Keepin' It 100 podcast, Dominik's godfather, wrestling veteran Konnan, addressed whether the former NXT North American Champion gets heat from his wife for doing such spots:
"[I wonder if Dom is worried about having to do spots like that, that now that he's just got married, he's getting heat from his girl.] No, I don't think so because I know his wife. She's super cool," he said.
Rhea Ripley will challenge Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship at WWE SummerSlam next Saturday. Although Dominik Mysterio rejected Morgan last Monday on RAW, many expect him to betray his Mami and side with Morgan in Cleveland. It would be interesting to see if that would happen.
