"Why y’all bald" - Samantha Irvin sends a message to two ex-WWE stars, including Ricochet
WWE announcer Samantha Irvin had some fun at the expense of Ricochet and another star on Twitter recently. The star in question is former WWE Superstar Top Dolla.
Top Dolla was released by WWE last year, along with several other names. He has been active outside the WWE umbrella since then and has wrestled for several promotions in the recent past.
Top Dolla recently called Ricochet one of the greatest in-ring wrestlers ever. He then responded to the comments and stated that he was speaking facts. Ricochet noticed Top Dolla's tweet and thanked him in his response on Twitter. Samantha Irvin saw the exchange and couldn't help but take a hilarious jibe at the duo.
She asked Ricochet and Top Dolla the following:
"Why y’all bald?"
For those unaware, Samantha's tweet was a reference to a hilarious meme featuring Ricochet based on his interaction with a fan. Ricochet once asked a fan "Why you ugly?" after they asked him why he was bald during a live stream.
Samantha Irvin reveals her favorite moment involving Ricochet
Ricochet isn't with WWE anymore. The star didn't re-sign with the Stamford-based promotion after his contract recently expired. While he hasn't announced his next move, the star is expected by many to sign with AEW.
Samantha once opened up about her favorite moment involving The One and Only on WWE TV, while speaking with Chris Van Vliet.
Here's what she said:
"Favorite Ricochet moment? Ooh. Well, I loved it when he won the Intercontinental Championship. That was a great, great, great, great moment. And I was so happy I was able to announce that. But I also love the SmackDown World Cup. His match with Santos Escobar was crazy. But honestly, he’s great. Ricochet is like, he’s the one, you know that every match is going to be incredible. You know he’s going to do everything in his power to try to win. So, I love everything that I’ve seen him do. I’ve never seen him have a bad match." [H/T - CVV]
Samantha has done incredibly well for herself as WWE's ring announcer. Many fans are going as far as calling her the greatest ring announcer in the history of the promotion.
