Will ex-WWE name replace Triple H as Head of Creative in the Stamford-based company? Hall of Famer gives his take

Triple H led WWE into a new era as its Chief Content Officer. However, some have speculated he might soon leave the Stamford-based company. WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff recently addressed these speculations.

The Game took over creative control following Vince McMahon's initial retirement in 2022. Although the former Chairman returned in January 2023, his son-in-law remained in his position. After McMahon departed again earlier this year, the company ushered in the "Paul Levesque" era.

Despite being at the forefront of WWE right now, former head writer Vince Russo predicted that the 14-time world champion would leave the company in 2025. Meanwhile, he suggested former head writer, and The Rock's business partner, Brian Gewirtz would be a possible replacement for The Game.

Speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, Bischoff addressed Russo's prediction, pointing out that he does not see it happening. The former RAW General Manager doubted that Gewirtz would want to return to professional wrestling.

"I don't really have a comment on it. I can't see it but I don't know. I'm friends with Brian but I haven't talked to him about this. I can't imagine that Brian would want to go back to professional wrestling at this stage of his career. But he may be chomping at the bit to do it. I don't know," he said. [43:15 - 43:40]

Could WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman take over Triple H's position?

Over the years, Hall of Famer Paul Heyman has played many roles on and off screen. While he is currently Roman Reigns' Wiseman on television, the 59-year-old continues to help WWE Superstars backstage.

Speaking on the Behind The Turnbuckle podcast, wrestling veteran Jonathan Coachman suggested Heyman could be a potential replacement for Triple H if the latter left the company.

"You brought up a name, and this could always be a name that you could throw into that hat, and that's Paul Heyman," he said.

Other names were also suggested to succeed The Game in the Stamford-based company, including his best friend and Head of Creative in NXT Shawn Michaels.
