"Win the Royal Rumble this year" - 58-year-old WWE legend wants Becky Lynch vs. Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania
A WWE legend is rooting for Becky Lynch to win this year's Women's Royal Rumble and challenge Rhea Ripley. The legend in question is Mick Foley.
Lynch is currently on the back of a loss to Nia Jax, who will likely be Ripley's next challenger. As on the latest edition of RAW, The Eradicator confronted Jax.
Taking to Instagram, Foley dedicated a message to Lynch and showcased his support for The Man.
"MICK & THE MAN! Just a random shout out to my dear friend, @beckylynchwwe. I’m rooting big time for #TheMan to win the #RoyalRumble this year - and for the possibility of a Mami vs The Man match at #WrestleMania. That would be incredible…Who would YOU like to see win the men’s and women’s Rumble matches this year? I am also so excited for the arrival of Becky‘s book #TheMan in just a few weeks - and can tell you first hand that it is one of the best wrestling books - or memoirs of any kind I have ever had the pleasure of reading. You can pre-order it now, and I’d highly recommend doing so!…have a nice day!" wrote Foley

Becky Lynch broke character to praise Trish Stratus
Becky Lynch broke character to praise WWE legend and her long-term rival, Trish Stratus.
Speaking on the Casual Podcast, The Man reflected on her Steel Cage Match against Lynch from the Payback Premium Live Event. She said:
"I think it's always going to be a little bit mind-blowing, growing up as a fan of somebody, that you get to work alongside them. It was incredible. We've said for many years that she's [Trish Stratus] one of the greatest of all time and she proved it through sheer work ethic and fearlessness. I am so proud of that cage match we had at Payback. I think it's one of my favorite matches that I've ever had, and what an honor to be able to do that with Trish Stratus,"
It remains to be seen how Lynch will bounce back after her loss to Jax at Day 1.
