WWE WrestleMania 33 News: WrestleMania 33 will be Big Show's final WrestleMania
What’s the story?
In the recent edition of The Jim Norton and Sam Roberts show on Sirius Radio, Big Show confirmed that WrestleMania 33 will be the last time ‘the World’s Largest Athlete’ will be performing at the Show of Shows.
He also disclosed that his current contract with the WWE will be expiring prior to WrestleMania 34.
In case you didn’t know...
The Big Show made his WWE debut at the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre: In Your House PPV in 1999 and has been a part of seventeen WrestleManias since then.
The heart of the matter
Last year, Big Show and NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal had a staredown during the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32. The staredown led to the rumours of a match between Show and Shaq at WrestleMania 33.

In fact, both the parties were serious about it and the potential match was hyped on several media platforms. Unfortunately, the deal between WWE and Shaq didn’t work out and the match had to be scrapped.
What’s next?
Big Show will be a participant in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle royal, which will take place at the WrestleMania 33 pre-show.
Braun Strowman, Tian Bing, The Usos, Mojo Rawley, Dolph Ziggler, Sami Zayn and several other Superstars will be joining Big Show in the quest to winning the Battle Royal and the prestigious trophy.
Author’s take
The 6-time World Champion Big Show has enjoyed a lengthy and successful wrestling career which has spanned over two decades. His recent performances against the likes of Braun Strowman have proved that he still has what it takes to be a main-event attraction.
But as a fan, it’s disheartening that a worldwide reputed Superstar like the Big Show will have to wrestle his final WrestleMania match in the pre-show of the event. He has surely earned the right to have one final big WrestleMania moment.
