Wrestling Booker T in his potential final match will be a cakewalk, WWE Superstar says

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T appears to be warming up to the possibility of one final match. His last in-ring performance was at the Royal Rumble 2023, where Gunther quickly eliminated him.

As a commentator for WWE NXT, Booker may be closer to some of the talents there. NXT Champion Trick Williams was asked about potentially stepping up as the Hall of Famer's final opponent. Williams noted that it would be an honor but added that there was no chance that the legendary wrestler would walk away with the win.

In an interview with Steve Fall on Ten Count Media, Trick Williams drew comparisons to the recent boxing match on Netflix between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul. The bout saw the younger Paul defeat Tyson, a legend in the sport. The NXT Champion left it at that with regard to his potential match against Booker:

"I will be honored [to face Booker T]," Williams stated. "As everybody knows, the respect, the reverence that I have for Booker T. The influence on even some of my move set. Booker T, in my mind, is definitely one of the greatest to ever do it. Definitely my top three to top five. Being able to share his last match will be amazing. I'm hoping to speaking it into existence. We need that to happen. But Booker T schooling me? I'm going to say, last week, we saw Jake Paul and Mike Tyson, and I'm going to let it alone right there." Trick Williams was also asked to share his thoughts about Lance Anoa'i, a real-life Bloodline member, joining the NXT roster.

Booker T also thinks he can elevate Sami Zayn if the Hall of Famer wrestled his final match against him

When asked about potential candidates for his final in-ring performance, Booker T named Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn among the current crop of WWE Superstars on the main roster. However, he pushed for The Underdog From The Underground a bit more.

Booker noted that Zayn has the caliber to make him look good, and the bout will benefit him as well because the Hall of Famer will sell everything the former Intercontinental Champion throws at him. Sami Zayn is currently part of the main storyline heading into Survivor Series: WarGames as he has reformed the OG Bloodline with the OTC.

It remains to be seen if the six-time World Heavyweight Champion will step back in the ring for one final match. His full-time WWE in-ring career ended in October 2007, and he then left for TNA. However, four years later, he returned to the Stamford-based promotion and has since sporadically wrestled.
