Wrestling legend claims CM Punk is probably worth more to WWE than three-time World Champion
CM Punk is one of the biggest attractions in WWE currently. Wrestling legend Dutch Mantell recently spoke about the Second City Saint's star power and also mentioned that the latter was probably worth more to the company than a three-time World Champion. That would be Drew McIntyre.
Punk is reportedly in the middle of contract renegotiations with WWE. The 45-year-old star inked a quick deal last year when he returned at Survivor Series: WarGames. Wrestle Purists reported that the two parties would sign a new detailed contract aimed at keeping Punk with the company for the future.
While speaking on his Story Time with Dutch Mantell podcast this week, the 74-year-old veteran felt that the Best in the World was better at delivering promos than Drew, making him more valuable to WWE.
"See, CM Punk can talk. I don't think he (Drew McIntyre) can talk like CM Punk can. He goes out and talks to them and, you know, see, I'm not the big Cody Rhodes fan that everybody else is. What do you want to talk about? That's over. But, I think he's probably worth more than Drew a little bit," Dutch Mantell said. [36:00 - 36:33]

CM Punk will face Drew McIntyre at WWE SummerSlam 2024
Last week on RAW, CM Punk walked out and addressed the WWE Universe. The Second City Saint claimed that he was finally cleared for in-ring action and he wanted to fight.
He called out Drew McIntyre so that the two men could settle their differences in the ring. Drew, a two-time WWE Champion and a one-time World Heavyweight Champion, came out to talk to Punk but refused to get involved in a physical brawl. Just as things were heating up, RAW General Manager Adam Pearce intervened and announced that the two men would face each other at SummerSlam 2024.
He warned both stars not to get physical before The Biggest Party of The Summer. He even announced that Seth Rollins would be taking over the officiating duties as the Special Guest Referee for the match.
