Wrestling legend criticizes former WWE Champion's claims about strained relationship with Triple H (Exclusive)
Bobby Lashley recently captured headlines with the revelation of his working relationship with Triple H. The former Hurt Business member hasn't been seen on TV for months. Teddy Long has now commented on the situation.
In a recent interview, The All Mightly revealed that he didn't have a close working relationship with Triple H. Lashley mentioned that he was on better terms with Vince McMahon. The former WWE Champion's contract will reportedly expire soon.
On a recent episode of Sportskeeda's Wrestling Time Machine, Teddy Long mentioned that The Game and McMahon were two different people. The legendary manager mentioned that the 14-time WWE World Champion was heading the creative team, and Lashley's comments didn't make sense.
"Well, Triple H is his own man, Vince is his own man. At the end of the day, Vince was still the boss but Triple H has power too. I don't understand what he's [Bobby Lashley] talking about. There's no such thing as having a relationship with one guy and having a relationship with another guy. Both of these guys are the boss. What are you trying to say—that I can go to this guy to save me? I really don't understand what he's talking about." [From 3:50 onwards]
During a recent interview, when asked about Bobby Lashley, The Game mentioned that signing and releasing talent was part of the business. It will be interesting to see what's next for The Pride's leader.
