Wrestling legend isn't happy about WWE not utilizing "MIA" Omos (Exclusive)

Omos has been missing in action (MIA) for quite a while now. With his manager, MVP not only gone but having joined AEW, wrestling legend Bill Apter gave his opinion about The Nigerian Giant.

On this week's episode of The Wrestling Time Machine, host Mac Davis brought up the Six Foot Under podcast of The Undertaker where he had Omos as a guest. The Phenom was full of praise for the Nigerian star and has been for years - going on the record in 2021 to state that he is the closest thing we've seen to Andre The Giant. On his podcast, 'Taker said he wanted to see Omos become the bodyguard of Dominik Mysterio and also become the "Guardian of the Castle" like The Deadman once was.

Bill Apter addressed The Undertaker's comments and also stated his frustration with WWE not utilizing the Nigerian star properly:

"My feeling about what he [The Undertaker] said about Omos is that he's been missing in action for so long that they have to repackage him scary enough as a babyface. Make him scary enough to the talent in WWE where he comes across like that character you were talking about. Right now he's been MIA." (4:23-4:50)

What exactly did The Undertaker tell Omos?

On the Six Feet Under podcast, The Undertaker expressed his admiration for The Nigerian Giant and told him that he's only scratching the surface of what he can achieve. The Deadman said:

"I believe he becomes like the guardian of the castle, basically like I used to be. Anybody, any giant monster, anybody that ever came down the pike, I always got them. It was because I was an attraction, and I kept the castle clean. I didn't get as many world title opportunities and all that. But you knew, if there was a threat to the kingdom, they knew who they were gonna, they were gonna - and I feel eventually that's gonna be his role. He will be the one that decides who comes and who goes in a storytelling aspect."

The Nigerian star has made several media appearances - showing his likable personality. It seems like WWE may want to take a different approach with him over just presenting Omos as a traditional giant.

Perhaps allowing him to show his personality could be a way to create a bigger star. Even MVP expressed how it was a complete waste to have one of the tallest stars in WWE history just sitting on the sidelines.
