Wrestling legend offers condolences; feels Sika's demise could impact Roman Reigns' future in WWE (Exclusive)

WWE star Roman Reigns recently lost his father, the legendary Sika Anoa'i. He was a renowned name during the territory days and won many championships with his tag team partner, Afa, as part of The Wild Samoans.

Legendary wrestler and Hall of Famer Sika passed away on June 25. In the wake of his demise, his son Roman Reigns took to Twitter to share an emotional message honoring his father's legacy and thanking fans for the outpouring of support.

This week on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk, former WWE manager Dutch Mantell extended condolences to the whole family on the death of Sika. He felt that Roman needed time to reflect on this loss. However, the veteran detailed that Reigns could take the loss to shape his narrative about leaving an impactful legacy as his father before him.

"My condolences to the Anoa'i family for the loss of Sika. Roman needs some time to grieve and get past that. But even in Sika's death, Roman, he can allude to that. It made him look at things differently which the people would believe. I'd believe it. He's thinking about his life, the legacy his father left and he wants to leave one just as well." After today's attack on Paul Heyman, WWE may be building up to Roman Reigns' return. It will be interesting when The Tribal Chief decides to come back.
