Wrestling legend praises major change made by Triple H; wants top duo to dethrone The Judgment Day (Exclusive)

Triple H has made many decisions that have made WWE fans happy lately. A wrestling legend was full of praise for a recent decision made by the CCO and wants a top duo to dethrone The Judgment Day.

On the latest episode of The Wrestling Time Machine show, a variety of topics were discussed between host Mac Davis and wrestling legends Bill Apter and Teddy Long. Apter took the time to single out his current favorite tag team in WWE, The War Raiders (fka The Viking Raiders).

Bill Apter praised his favorites and believed that they should be booked as a dominant force. Referring to the 'Viking' name as a "shtick", Apter praised Triple H's decision to revert their name to The War Raiders. He also added that they should be a dominant tag team and should have the belts on them, the ones held by The Judgment Day, the World Tag Team Championship.

"I want to tell you my favorite tag team in WWE after the most recent episode of RAW, The War Raiders. They are incredible. The way they move at their weight, Ivar's weight. The way they move is like giant Road Warriors. I'm glad they got rid of that Viking shtick. They are an excellent tag team and they should have the tag team belts on them. They should be unbeatable. I love watching them," he said. [4:42 - 5:13]

Triple H made an interesting revelation about how things work backstage in WWE

Many fans are curious about what The Game's booking philosophy is and how he has managed to turn WWE into a massive success once again.

Making an appearance on the Greg & The Morning Buzz, Triple H said that legends and friends don't text him when he's running the show. He also noted that despite them thinking that the younger generation of WWE stars are doing things wrong, it's about giving them what they want. He elaborated by drawing a comparison.

"No, you're just old, dude. Yeah, the stuff was great in your generation, you learned it a certain way, but the kids today learn it a different way, and what they see and what they think is cool, then that's what you need to give them. I can't control that. I learned this thirty years the hard way. It is in no way shape or form about what I want. It's about what they want. If it becomes about what I want, then the show will die. It is about what they want and that overall big picture," Triple H said. [H/T: Fightful]

The Chief Content Officer of WWE seems to know exactly where he should draw inspiration from and appears to be taking a similar approach to what he did in NXT, trusting the talent and their abilities.
