Wrestling veteran comes out in support of Logan Paul after bitter exchange with WWE Hall of Famer (Exclusive)
Former WWE head writer Vince Russo recently spoke about Logan Paul's exchange with Kevin Nash. The two stars exchanged a few words on social media.
Nash recently called out The Maverick on his podcast for his part-time status and claimed he would never be one of the boys. In response, Logan claimed he hadn't even heard of the former WWE Champion and he was just a bitter old-timer looking to grab headlines.
This week on Sportskeeda's The Coach & Bro show, Russo came out in support of Logan. He pointed out that it was WWE who were offering a huge paycheck to the star and he naturally took it. While he understood Nash's points, the former writer felt Paul should milk his current situation the best he could.
"Everybody knows this, Kevin is my boy. But come on bro. You're gonna blame Logan Paul for this? If they're willing to pay him that type of money for a limited amount of dates, what's a dude supposed to say? No?" He continued, "I love Kevin to death but Logan Paul should get everything he can possibly get. And if it means five million dollars for ten shows, take the money and run. So I don't blame Logan Paul at all." [From 37:40 onwards]
The Maverick works a limited schedule with WWE. In fact, his last match was at SummerSlam where he lost the United States Championship to LA Knight. The star has yet to reappear on WWE television since the loss.
It will be interesting to see how far this Nash-Paul feud goes and if WWE incorporates this into a storyline.
