Wrestling veteran comments on popular WWE star returning on SmackDown to attack Santos Escobar (Exclusive)

Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell spoke about how Carlito attacked Santos Escobar this week on SmackDown.

LWO members Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro faced off against Angel and Humberto this week after being betrayed by Santos. However, Escobar's newest team members picked up the win despite some controversy at ringside. Carlito appeared and attacked Santos, taking him away from the ringside area. Amidst the confusion, Garza picked up the win with a rollup on Wilde.

On this week's episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk, Mantell mentioned that it was a good match. However, the former WWE manager questioned where Escobar and Carlito went after their scuffle. He was confused as to where the two stars went while throwing hands in the aisle.

"They did have a good match. As a fan, I'm wondering, where did Carlito and the guy go down the aisle? They just kept going and his partner went down the aisle, like well he's back there somewhere." [30:10 onwards]

Mantell liked the action on WWE SmackDown this week

During the same discussion, the former WWE manager mentioned that he liked this week's show. He pointed out that the action was fast-paced and included some interesting short interviews.

"I'll say, the matches have been cut down. So they don't have time to get boring. They did a lot of interviews tonight, short ones. I think the show just sped by tonight. I watched it for an hour and it felt like thirty minutes. But it was interesting the whole way." [29:48 onwards]

The wrestling veteran also made it clear that he was only able to watch the show for an hour, but he was thoroughly entertained.
