Wrestling veteran discusses major changes for Grayson Waller and Austin Theory (Exclusive)
Hall of Fame journalist Bill Apter recently spoke about Grayson Waller and Austin Theory's performances in the WWE. The stars were in action this week on SmackDown.
During the show, Kevin Owens tried to exploit the cracks in the friendship between Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. He challenged them to face him in a Triple-Threat Match. The Prizefighter used his experience and ended up winning the contest.
During the latest episode of SmackTalk, Apter claimed Waller is a great talent and might have a great future as a babyface. He felt fans could relate to the Aussie Icon if he was a babyface on the roster. The veteran journalist also felt that the company should utilize Austin Theory better. He stated it would be better if the two stars split up and focused on their singles careers.
"Grayson Waller is a hell of a competitor. If he somewhere down the line turns babyface, I think we'd have a great character that the fans could really go for. Austin Theory is an incredible heel and he's not being used like they should use him in my opinion. Once again, he should be on the singles ratings right now. So, I see a breakup." Waller and Theory assaulted Owens after losing the match. This prompted General Manager Nick Aldis to put them in a tag team match against KO and a partner of his choosing next week on SmackDown.
It will be interesting to see if Waller and Theory can hold their own in the match next week on the blue brand.
