Wrestling veteran discusses possibility of The Undertaker coming out of retirement to face WWE Hall of Famer (Exclusive)
Veteran wrestling journalist Bill Apter recently discussed The Undertaker coming out of retirement. Apter spoke about the possibility of a Sting vs. 'Taker encounter.
The Icon bid farewell to pro wrestling at AEW Revolution 2024, where he retired after one final match. He ended his career with a win in the main event, teaming up with Darby Allin against The Young Bucks.
During this week's episode of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine, Apter claimed that he did not see Sting vs. The Undertaker happening. He felt that the face-painted star's retirement felt final, and he would not lace up his boots again for another go inside the squared circle.
"No, no, no. No, Sting will not. Sting will not come back to wrestle." [From 1:05 onwards]
While The Undertaker is also retired from active completion, the 59-year-old raised some eyebrows during his recent appearance on the Impaulsive podcast. The Phenom mentioned that he could consider having one last match given it was booked correctly.
'Taker's last match was at WrestleMania 36, where he competed against AJ Styles in a Boneyard Match. He also made an appearance in the Bloodline Rules bout at WrestleMania XL earlier this year.
