Wrestling veteran explains why leaving WWE for AEW wouldn't work for Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins

WWE Superstars Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins have contributed widely to the Stamford-based company's growth in recent times. However, former WCW star Konnan believes the two shouldn't leave WWE for AEW, as it wouldn't work for them.

Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins gave their best at The Grandest Stage of Them All in Philadelphia but came up short against Rhea Ripley and Drew McIntyre, respectively. The two have been absent since the event, amidst rumors regarding the end of their contracts.

Speaking on Keepin' It 100, Konnan and Disco Inferno spoke about the possibility of the power couple heading to All Elite Wrestling. Konnan explained why the move wouldn't work for the stars, as the Jacksonville-based promotion needs to work on their overall production more than signing expensive stars to their roster.

"The problem is that if you bring in Seth and Becky, it wouldn't change anything because, at the end of the day, wrestlers are seeing that's where careers go to get destroyed or flounder. Very few careers have flourished, you know what I'm saying." [From 01:16 to 01:40]

Konnan addressed the signings of Mercedes Mone, Will Ospreay, and Kazuchika Okada and stated how their momentum was eventually lost after they made their respective debuts.

Becky Lynch recently competed at a WWE house show

Becky Lynch became the biggest star in the women's division and ruled it as The Man on WWE's main roster. The Irish Lasskicker has been part of several iconic moments in modern times. However, she decided to contribute further when she returned to the developmental brand.

The Man put a few stars on the map during her run and eventually returned to WWE RAW for the Women's World Championship. Unfortunately, she lost to Rhea Ripley in the opening match of WrestleMania Saturday. Many expected her to go on a hiatus for a while.

However, she debunked those rumors and revealed that she would be appearing and competing at WWE house shows in the United Kingdom. The Man scored her first win against Piper Niven after her loss at The Grandest Stage of Them All in Philadelphia.

Meanwhile, Seth Rollins hasn't made an appearance for WWE. It will be interesting to see when the two will return to the weekly product and if Lynch will compete for the vacant Women's World Championship.
