Wrestling veteran highlights major problem with WWE's booking of Liv Morgan's storyline on RAW (Exclusive)
Former WWE head writer Vince Russo recently spoke about the Liv Morgan storyline on RAW. The Women's World Champion has been involved in a romantic angle with Dominik Mysterio onscreen.
Since she sidelined Rhea Ripley with an injury, Liv vowed to take everything away from Mami. First, she captured the Women's World Title and then turned her attention to Dom Dom. Morgan has been trying to seduce Dominik over the last few weeks, which has led to several awkward moments between the two.
This week on Legion of RAW, Russo felt WWE was dragging out Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio's angle. He hated the part where "Dirty" Dom fell on top of Liv this week. The wrestling veteran mentioned that the storyline was barely advancing, and there was no payoff yet.
"I just have no patience for things that get drawn out or just take too long. The Liv Morgan thing is getting long in the tooth now. Last week, she was on top of Dom, so this week, Dom is... I just hate when things really go at a snail's pace. That's really what's happening with that story, bro," Russo said. [From 2:35 onwards]
After winning her title match against Zelina Vega, Liv Morgan tried to help Dominik beat his father in a singles match. However, Vega came out to even the odds for the Hall of Famer.
As Dominik was on the top rope, Vega pushed Liv, causing the Judgment Day member to lose his balance. Rey used this to his advantage and picked up the win over his son.
