WWE's Chief Content Officer Triple H and Chief Executive Officer Nick Khan recently met with Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London. They had a productive discussion where Sadiq proposed to host WrestleMania in London. This was in line with the Mayor's vision of making the city a sports hub.
This week on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk, Mantell felt WrestleMania would be sold out in minutes they WWE decided to take the show to London. He mentioned the Show of Shows is a multi-day event and the company would put on a great show for the fans.
"WrestleMania goes to London, automatic sellout first day. I think it will sell out in the first 30 minutes. I think they'll put on a hell of a show. It's a two-day deal, both of their shows would sell completely out. They can almost go three days there I think." [From 19:20 onwards]
London has hosted major events such as Money in the Bank and SummerSlam in the past. Other wrestling promotions such as AEW have also had successful outings in the city.
It will be interesting to see if the company does indeed take the Show of Shows to London in the coming years.
