Wrestling veteran makes a personal request to CM Punk ahead of Hell in a Cell match (Exclusive)

Veteran wrestling journalist Bill Apter recently spoke about CM Punk competing at Hell in a Cell. He will be facing Drew McIntyre at Hell in a Cell.

The Best in the World was in a serious mood this week as he cut a promo on RAW. He vowed to make The Scottish Warrior bleed at Hell in a Cell and lay rest to the personal rivalry between them. He also claimed that McIntyre would have to kill him to walk out of the hellish structure with a win.

During a recent Q&A with Wrestlevotes, Bill Apter spoke about his open letter to CM Punk. He detailed that the 45-year-old star had taken a lot of physical wear and tear throughout his career and didn't want him to get hurt again at Hell in a Cell.

The veteran journalist hoped that Punk would not make any rash decisions during the match that could cause immense physical harm.

"In my newsletter this week, I wrote a personal letter to CM Punk. I even called him Phil. The open letter is that everybody knows these days, I never would've said this 10 years ago that wrestling is athletic performance. But that doesn't mean you don't get hurt." He continued, "CM Punk to agree to agree, after all these injuries and that he's been out and his body has got to be aching. For him to agree to a Hell in A Cell match, I hope he's not gonna be a punk and try and do something stupid there." [From 6:30 onwards]

Punk has been inside Hell in a Cell on five occasions in the past coming out victorious twice. It will be interesting to see if he can pick up another win against Drew McIntyre at Bad Blood next month.
