Wrestling veteran poses a major question to WWE over Brock Lesnar's probable return (Exclusive)
Veteran wrestling journalist Bill Apter recently spoke about WWE lining up some opponents for Brock Lesnar in case of a possible return. The Beast Incarnate has not been on WWE TV since SummerSlam 2023.
Lesnar's last match happened against Cody Rhodes in the summer of 2023. He was reportedly set to appear at the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania. However, the Janel Grant lawsuits derailed any such plans. Brock's name was seemingly attached to the lawsuit, leading to WWE distance themselves from The Beast Incarnate.
On the recent episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk, Apter mentioned that even if WWE were to get Lesnar back, there was no viable opponent for him. The veteran journalist mentioned that he would be interested to see The Beast go up against Gunther. However, he questioned if there was anyone else left for Brock to face in the company.
"My question is if Brock comes back, what do they do with Brock Lesnar? Brock Lesnar-Gunther of course would be something I would like to see. But Brock's been through just about everybody else. So other than Gunther what other interest would we have in Brock Lesnar against who?" [From 04:01 to 04:28]

Several media outlets have reported that WWE had not had any discussions with Lesnar regarding a comeback.
However, if the two parties do come to an agreement, his return could create excitement and influence some major storylines leading up to WrestleMania season.
