Wrestling veteran questions if Cody Rhodes getting cut was planned by WWE on SmackDown (Exclusive)
Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell spoke about Cody Rhodes facing Solo Sikoa this week on SmackDown. The two stars battled it out inside a Steel Cage this week.
The high-voltage encounter kicked off SmackDown. The two stars left it all in the ring inside the brutal structure. During the match, Cody even got a cut on his forehead and was seen bleeding. However, The American Nightmare didn't let the injury stop him from pinning Solo for the win.
This week on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk, Mantell questioned if WWE had planned on the spot. He pointed out that it was a small cut and Solo quickly wiped off all the blood. The veteran manager joked that he had seen more blood while shaving than what Cody Rhodes got during the matchup.
"Let me ask, was the blood planned you think or not?" He continued, "He had it there for a minute till Solo wiped it all off. I got more blood shaving this morning than what he got." [10:49 onwards]
After the win, The Bloodline tried to manhandle Cody Rhodes but Roman Reigns returned to make the save. The duo beat down The Bloodline as Solo and Jacob Fatu watched in anger.
Later, it was confirmed that Cody and Roman would team up at Bad Blood to face The Bloodline in a tag-team encounter.
