Wrestling veteran says he will not be surprised if THIS match headlined WrestleMania 41
WrestleMania 41 is still four months away, so there is enough time for WWE Creative to either build up or plan what is going to be on the match card. There is naturally buzz surrounding Dwayne Johnson's potential involvement after Johnson wrestled at the last edition, and even teased the storyline's continuation most recently at Bad Blood in October.
Be that as it may, Konnan and Disco Inferno admitted that they would not be surprised if CM Punk and Roman Reigns headlined WrestleMania 41 in Paradise, Nevada. WWE has already sown the seeds for a potential showdown between these two major stars.
Speaking on Keepin' It 100, Disco Inferno revealed that he trusts Paul Heyman and the writers who are involved in The Bloodline Saga. Konnan agreed, saying that he was simply going to enjoy the ride and not overthink it:
"I don't know want to know this [right now], but I can see it," Disco Inferno responded to CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns headlining WrestleMania 41. "The storytelling is always really good with The Bloodline. Paul [Heyman] is calling all the shots, and you've got Punk in thereāhe's got a good mind. They like, do long-term storytelling with logic. Everything makes sense." [From 0:16 to 0:32]
CM Punk's addition into the narrative opens the door for The Wiseman to turn on The Original Tribal Chief and side with The Best in the World, someone he managed for a noteworthy year in the last decade.
CM Punk has a roadblock ahead of WrestleMania 41; where does Roman Reigns go from here?
At WWE Survivor Series: WarGames, CM Punk and Roman Reigns joined forces and humbled Solo Sikoa and The New Bloodline. Punk's next storyline was immediately established on WWE RAW.
He is reportedly heading for a massive clash with Seth Rollins. Although their bout was originally planned for a WrestleMania, it appears that is no longer the case. At least, not their first encounter. Meanwhile, Roman Reigns was last seen at the Thanksgiving event.
Interestingly, though, Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga became the aggressors post-event, attacking major stars on SmackDown this past Friday. Sikoa proclaimed that he was still The Bloodline's Tribal Chief.
