Wrestling veteran doesn't see Cody Rhodes losing Undisputed WWE Championship in 2025 (Exclusive)
Cody Rhodes has been the Undisputed WWE Champion for the last 260 days. The American Nightmare beat Roman Reigns for the title at WrestleMania XL. His most recent title defense came against Kevin Owens at Saturday Night's Main Event.
Speaking during a recent episode of Live Q&A on Backstage Pass, Bill Apter addressed the possiblity of Cody Rhodes losing his championship in 2025. The veteran wrestling journalist said he was on the fence about Rhodes dropping the title next year.
"It's hard to say because he's become such a proud face of that company. He's what you want your champion to look like, talk like and sell merchandise like. So I'm on the fence about it." [12:14 onwards]
While Apter was skeptical about Rhodes losing the Undisputed WWE Championship, he believed Kevin Owens could be the one to dethrone The American Nightmare for the richest prize in the company.
"I don't see anyone at this point in the company with them doing something to change the title. And if they would, if, if the Kevin Owens thing doesn't happen, it'll be Kevin Owens." [16:01 onwards]
