Wrestling veteran shares advice with WWE for success of group after its shocking RAW debut (Exclusive)
On this week's WWE RAW, Seth Rollins made a surprise appearance, and fans were later treated to a faction's much-awaited debut. After weeks of anticipation, the mysterious Wyatt Sicks showed up in the program's closing moments, wreaking havoc on the roster. Former head writer Vince Russo has now discussed how the creative team can ensure the group's success.
The stable consists of Nikki Cross, Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis, Erick Rowan, and their leader, the mysterious Uncle Howdy. This was Uncle Howdy's first appearance on WWE TV since the unfortunate passing of Bray Wyatt. On RAW, Wyatt Sicks attacked multiple stars and backstage personnel to establish their dominance.
Discussing the segment on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Vince Russo was worried about how the group would fare inside the ring. The show's host, Dr. Chris Featherstone, said the Wyatt Sicks could compete in cinematic bouts. In response, Russo mentioned that the creative team should have a unique approach to the faction's booking.
"It can't just be cinematic matches. It gotta be cinematic everything, Chris. Not just matches, everything." (51:38 - 52:45)
