WWE announces Cody Rhodes' upcoming title defense following The Rock's shocking return
Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and The Rock aren't done with each other following Bad Blood in Atlanta. Recently, the company announced The American Nightmare's upcoming title defense following The Final Boss' return to the Stamford-based promotion.
Cody Rhodes spent over a year chasing the World Championship before he captured it in Philadelphia at WrestleMania XL. The American Nightmare made sure he would defend it like a true workhorse, including premium live events and live shows.
Today, the company announced Cody Rhodes will defend his title against The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa in a Steel Cage match when the roster heads to Manchester for a live tour in the coming week. Here's the official information before the event:

Cody Rhodes spoke about Roman Reigns' plan after The Rock's return at WWE Bad Blood
The Rock made an earth-shattering return in Atlanta when Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns won their match. Bad Blood 2024 will forever go down as one of the best PLE of the modern era and The Final Boss' return contributed to the factor.
In an interview with Manchester Evening News, The American Nightmare commented on Roman Reigns' potential plan against The Rock and The Bloodline heading into The Showcase of The Immortals in Las Vegas. He also addressed his stance against the villainous faction:
"In terms of where I'd like to get to by WrestleMania, I would think that Roman Reigns will step in and start handling his own Bloodline business and allow me to handle business elsewhere. Until then, I have no qualms about fighting Solo Sikoa." [H/T: Manchester Evening News]
Rhodes stated The Original Tribal Chief has unfinished business with The Bloodline and The Rock could factor into it. Meanwhile, Rhodes is ready to move on to different challenges and opponents in the coming weeks and months.
