WWE won't book Jey Uso to win the Money in the Bank briefcase for one major reason, says veteran

Jey Uso is one of the favorites to win the Money in the Bank ladder match at tonight's WWE premium live event. However, a wrestling veteran believes the company will not let Main Event capture the briefcase.

Jey has held several tag team championships. However, the 38-year-old has never won a singles title in his career. Over the past few months, he has attempted to capture the United States Championship and the World Heavyweight Title. However, he was unable to get the win in any of those bouts. While he has vowed to win the Money in the Bank briefcase to earn another guaranteed title shot, wrestling veteran Matt Morgan believes that will not happen.

On the Gigantic Pop podcast, the former WWE star disclosed that he initially believed the company would book Jey to win the Money in the Bank ladder match. However, he now thinks differently because it doesn't seem like the company will make him "the man":

"At first, I thought they were gonna give it to Jey, if I'm being honest. I thought that's the route they would take. But again, they're not gonna make him the man in my opinion," he said. [22:53 - 23:01]

Matt Morgan thinks another WWE star will win the Men's Money in the Bank briefcase

On the same episode of the Gigantic Pop podcast, Matt Morgan predicted who would win the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match. The former WWE star claimed LA Knight should be the one to capture the briefcase.

Meanwhile, the wrestling veteran slammed WWE for "dropping the ball" with Knight, urging the company to keep "pumping fuel" into The Megastar:

"LA Knight should win. LA Knight, they're dropping the ball with him a little bit right now. I don't like it. The fans are still chanting for him in the arenas. I know they have a lot of upper-echelon stars that they gotta focus the TV show around right now, including Jacob [Fatu] and others, but you cannot lose what you got with LA. You cannot. You gotta keep pumping fuel into him because I think there's a payoff there. And you can do what you wanna do but, like, he doesn't have to cash in for an entire year. You can figure it out as you go," he said.

While Drew McIntyre is also one of the favorites to win the Money in the Bank ladder match, Matt Morgan disclosed that he would like to see CM Punk interfere to cost The Scottish Warrior his opportunity. It will be interesting to see if Morgan's predictions come true.
