WWE Champion Cody Rhodes reveals his pick for the best Cross Rhodes of all time, and it's not on Roman Reigns
Cody Rhodes became the Undisputed WWE Champion at WrestleMania 40 by delivering his Cross Rhodes finisher thrice to Roman Reigns. However, The American Nightmare recently revealed what he believes is the biggest Cross Rhodes of all time.
In an interview with Chris Van Vliet of INSIGHT, the host asked the 39-year-old champion which wrestler or WWE Superstar had been on the receiving end of one of the most impressive Cross Rhodes.
The American Nightmare claimed that Seth Rollins had been hit with the biggest Cross Rhodes of all time during a Tag Team match with Dustin Rhodes (FKA Goldust) against The Shield at Battleground 2013.
"I still think the best Cross Rhodes of all time is The Shield vs. The Rhodes Brothers with Seth Rollins because something about it floated and it literally felt like it was the energy of the crowd that night in Buffalo. And then we hit it, we moved," he said. [From 55:45 to 56:01]

That night, The Rhodes Brothers emerged victorious over The Shield in a hard-fought match. Following the emotional win, the late WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes entered the ring and shared a heartfelt hug with both his sons.
Cody Rhodes has seemingly once again called out WWE legend
On the Road to WrestleMania 40, The American Nightmare faced a formidable big roadblock in the form of The Rock. Even Dwayne Johnson vowed to stop Rhodes from winning the Undisputed WWE Championship. However, the latter eventually finished his story at The Showcase of the Immortals.
At the Elimination Chamber 2024, held in Perth, Australia, during his appearance on "The Grayson Waller Effect," the 39-year-old champion called out The Rock for a singles match.
During the same conversation with CVV, Cody Rhodes reiterated that his offer for a one-on-one match with The Final Boss remains open whenever he decides to return.
"Offer still stands. And again, if he never comes back, he’s done it all. He really has. And as much as I insulted him previously, it was an honor to be part of his last outing," said Cody.
The Great One is on a hiatus following his confrontation with The American Nightmare on RAW after Mania. It remains to be seen if Dwayne Johnson will go after Cody Rhodes' WWE Title upon his return to the company.
