WWE champions issue open challenge for their titles

This week’s episode of WWE RAW saw a duo of freshly crowned champions defend their titles before the spectators of Calgary, Alberta. Following a stellar cross-branded win, the champions have issued an open challenge to the entire roster for their titles. The superstars in question are Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair.

The Storm and The EST faced off against The Unholy Union for the Women’s Tag Team Championship. While Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre were confident about retaking the belts after being dethroned at Bash in Berlin, they failed to get the better of the babyfaces. Following this, the newly crowned champions appeared for a backstage interview.

Notably, Cargill and Belair stated that the belts will now stay with them and they won’t be losing them a second time. However, The EST acknowledged the fact that she was aware that superstars across all brands were eyeing their titles.

“Listen, we are everywhere right now. We're on Raw, SmackDown, my end of it. Who knows? NXT, who knows? But the fact that we're everywhere, that means that everybody is coming for us. So we know what we're going to have to do to keep these titles. So we're going to show up and we're going to show out, and we're going to do what we got to do."

Adding to this, Jade Cargill issued an open challenge to the entire WWE roster.

“And champs don't sleep. We got things to do. So anybody want to come get it, we got it. We're giving our word. Come apply."

Jade Cargill reveals what she learned from her teammates after WWE move

Jade Cargill was a goliath in Tony Khan’s AEW, and made her WWE in-ring debut at the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble. Despite spending less than a year in the new company, she has already become a two-time tag team champion.

Speaking about her experience in the Stamford-based promotion to Casual Conversations with The Classic, Cargill recently revealed that she has learned a lot from her allies Bianca Belair and Naomi.

"I've learned from Bianca how to coexist… We're both usually on a solo run, so I've been able to be selfless. She's been able to be selfless, and just working with one another and listening for one another and what they want and their desires in the match. That's one thing I've learned is patience and she's learned patience as well, because we're so used to doing our own thing," said Jade Cargill. (H/T WrestlingInc.)

The Storm also noted how Naomi has basically been like a mother to her in WWE. She highlighted the veteran superstar’s efforts to always help her out, sometimes even when the clock struck 3:00 AM. Moreover, she also said that The Glow didn’t turn her down for either professional or personal problems.

With a second title run and an open challenge to the entire WWE roster, it would be interesting to see what awaits Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair in the future.
