WWE claims popular star was shocked by RAW brawl
WWE sent a message to a popular star after she was able to avoid disaster during this week's edition of RAW. Last night's episode of the red brand aired live from Portland, Oregon.
Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman have been involved in a violent rivalry on RAW in recent weeks. Reed hit The Monster of All Monsters with several Tsunami Splashes on WWE RAW on August 26. The two stars competed in a singles match last night, and Reed launched a fan at Strowman during the bout.
Strowman responded by tackling the former North American Champion through the barricade moments after ring announcer Samantha Irvin got out of the way. The promotion shared a video of Samantha Irvin narrowly avoiding disaster today on Instagram and noted that it was a good thing the 35-year-old moved out of the way.
"Good thing you moved, @samanthairvinwwe! 😳"
Bronson Reed was supposed to participate in the Intercontinental Championship tournament but was pulled after being diagnosed with COVID-19. Braun Strowman replaced him in the tournament and made it to the Final 4-Way match earlier this month. However, Jey Uso picked up the victory and will be challenging Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental title next Monday night on RAW.
Former WWE writer Vince Russo praises RAW star
Wrestling legend Vince Russo praised Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker following last night's edition of RAW.
Speaking on this week's episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, Russo praised Bron Breakker as a performer. He noted that the Intercontinental Champion shows a ton of confidence, and he enjoyed the 26-year-old's promo with Jey Uso last night on the red brand.
"Here's a positive. Bro, Breakker shows such a great amount of confidence. I mean, you could tell. Bron Breakker shows a great amount of confidence, which I thought was really good," admitted Vince Russo. [41:30 onwards]
