WWE could create a huge angle with Samoan family elders for The Bloodline's next chapter, feels veteran (Exclusive)

Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell spoke about The Bloodline story and how Roman Reigns would be involved. The former champion hasn't been seen on WWE TV since WrestleMania XL.

Roman defended the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL. Despite help from The Rock and the rest of the Bloodline, Roman could not retain the gold and lost to Cody. Since then, Solo has taken over The Bloodline and the fans are clamoring for the Head of the Table to return.

This week on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk, Mantell claimed that WWE had a unique storyline on their hands with the stable. He felt they could weave an angle out of who gets to be called the "Tribal Chief." The former manager even suggested that the company could bring in the Samoan elders to make the storyline more compelling.

"Well, they got a good story to tell with that Tribal Chief story. They could bring in all the Samoan elders, the heirarchy. Who was the Samoan that just passed away recently? Sika. Sika and Afa. They could tell a whole story just for that. They could make a whole TV show just out of that and it'd be interesting becuase now the people know the background." [From 20:00 onwards]

At SummerSlam, Cody Rhodes will face the full might of The Bloodline as he takes on Solo Sikoa with the Undisputed WWE Championship on the line.

Given the recent attacks by the faction laying out babyfaces from the SmackDown roster, it is certain that the SummerSlam encounter will not be a fair fight. It will be interesting to see if Cody retains the title against the new Tribal Chief.
