WWE creative missed out on a huge opportunity with Nia Jax, according to wrestling legend (Exclusive)
Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell recently spoke about how the company has been booking Nia Jax. The star is the current WWE Women's Champion and the 2024 Queen of the Ring.
It was run-ins galore during the SmackDown main event as Nia Jax defended the WWE Women's Championship against Naomi. Ms. Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton came out to help the champ but the inference almost cost Nia the match. Bayley also ran down to even the odds, but Candice LeRae attacked The Role Model taking her out. This allowed Jax to pin her challenger and retain her belt.
This week on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk, Mantell felt that Nia needed to be booked differently from the other women on the roster. The wrestling veteran pointed out that the champ didn't need to do any silly spots and should be booked like a monster wreaking havoc.
"I think Nia Jax, it's too late now, but Imma tell her, 'I don't need you flying all over the place and doing all these silly spots that the girls that weigh 140 pounds are doing' (...) She doesn't need to be doing the same stuff the rest of them are doing. She's a monster, so present her as a monster. I think that's what WWE creative have kinda forgotten." Nia Jax has been a dominating champ but her problems with Tiffany Stratton seem to be increasing with every passing week. It will be interesting to see if these small misunderstandings lead to a major fallout between the two stars in the future.
