WWE gave up on Bray Wyatt behind the scenes for one reason, according to veteran
Bray Wyatt was one of the top names in WWE for a long time, even when he was not holding the top championship in the company. When he finally returned under Triple H last year after being released in 2021, fans were ready to be wowed. It didn't work out, and now the star has not appeared on TV for a while. According to veteran Dutch Mantell, there may be a reason for that.
Unfortunately, the story took too long to unfold when he returned, and by the time he was wrestling a match, some fans were already done. On top of that, the match he finally wrestled against LA Knight at Royal Rumble was a huge letdown. The Mountain Dew Pitch Black match was too gimmicky and didn't do anyone any favors.
Now, speaking about Wyatt's run in WWE, Dutch Mantell took to Twitter to state that he always felt that Bray Wyatt was not turning the needle in WWE. That was one of the reasons that WWE lost faith in him and gave up, as he was not getting over with the fans. Fans lacked interest in his long stories.
"I’ve been saying for months now on @SKWrestling_ that Bray Wyatt wasn’t turning the needle. There was something missing…like I don’t know…INTEREST? Bray wasn’t getting over and @WWE lost faith in him. What was wrong??"

While Bray Wyatt is currently supposed to be out with an apparent injury, there's a lot of confusion surrounding if or when he's returning.
